The faculty was established in 1974 and 104 professors work at the faculty. Two of them are doctors of science, 12 are candidates of science, associate professors. Currently, 1300 undergraduate students and 145 graduate students are studying at the faculty.
The faculty has published 5 textbooks, 12 study manuals, 10 monographs, and has obtained 8 patents (methodology of teaching English), international certificates for 52 languages. There are clubs in the faculty such as: “Book Club”, “Speaking club”, “IELTS club”, “Talented student theater”, “Happy minions”, “Iqtidor” in the faculty of foreign languages (members of the club participated in conferences with more than 10 scientific articles). The “Professional Development Center” resource center, consisting of methodical, educational and fiction literature provided by the British Council, was established under the faculty.
In order to raise the morale of young people in the field of education and to organize their free time in a meaningful way, the faculty regularly organizes a conversation with parents. Questionnaires on the social status of students are being conducted. On April 19, 2022, separate roundtable discussions were organized for women on the topic “Culture of treatment among girls”.
