The main activities of the center are as follows:

• Creation of computer and information infrastructure of the university and implementation of its software;
• Introduction of information technologies into the educational process, computerization of educational process management, creation of information systems and electronic libraries;
• Creating opportunities for professors, teachers, scientific researchers, graduate and undergraduate students to use the INTERNET and the national scientific-educational network;
• Coordinating the activities of university faculties and departments regarding the creation of educational and methodological support of the information-communication network;
• Participation and organization of exhibitions, conferences, practical seminars dedicated to the problems of development of information and communication technologies;
• To establish and develop creative relations with other educational institutions of the Republic, educational institutions of foreign countries in order to exchange experience, create cooperative educational courses on information technologies;
• Creating the official website of the university, ensuring its constant updating with information about the institution’s news;
• Preparation of proposals for providing the university with modern computers and network equipment;
• Creating a university computer network and implementing network software (Intranet and Internet);
• Software implementation of university computers;
• Providing practical assistance to the organization of computer classes at the faculties;
• Creation of educational and methodological support for the introduction of computer technologies;
• Providing practical assistance in creating electronic training manuals and introducing them into the educational process;
• Provide practical assistance in creating electronic versions of electronic textbooks and lecture texts;
• Providing practical assistance in introducing the automated (ARMAT) system to the University Information Resource Center.

Department of Implementation of Digital Educational Technologies:

The department of implementation of digital educational technologies solves many issues related to information technologies in the university: providing practical assistance in the creation of electronic scientific, methodical manuals and textbooks on new information technologies and establishing their distribution on the Internet – international information systems; implementation of distance learning; organization of courses to improve computer and information technology literacy of professors, researchers, and talented students; establishment of efficient use of Internet – international information systems from computer and information technology resources for teaching staff, researchers and students; practical assistance and organization of practice and laboratory classes in the creation of animated materials through multimedia and computer systems; creating and implementing various programs; Creation of an electronic catalog of the ARM library, implementation of “virtual library” and its use; use of means of information transmission and reception (Internet, e-mail, modem communication, fax, etc.); computerization of the organization and implementation of the educational process, at the same time creating a single information space, implementing centralized remote monitoring of the quality of training; updating the technical tools and equipment necessary for information technologies based on the requirements of the time; introducing new information technologies into the higher education system; creating a database and updating it with constant information; organization of video conference, video consultation and video debates; providing practical assistance in creating the university’s Web site and updating it with new information.

Network Management Department:

Network administrators deal with various problems related to users’ network connections. The network management section performs tasks such as configuring IP settings, improving network security, and monitoring system performance. Users will find complete information about the use of communication programs and services in the operating system. It also improves communication and connections between the universite’s main building and faculties located in other buildings. The department will establish Wi-Fi zones at the required points of the universite, as well as install camera surveillance on all the rooms and necessary objects in the universite. Employees of the network management department ensure the quality of the images captured by the cameras and the continuity of communications in the wifi zones.

Technical Support Department performs the following tasks:

providing technical and informational services to the users of the university’s centralized departments, servicing the hardware and system software of the university’s information systems (IT) servers, perform technical support work for user workstations, install and configure system and application programs, update software, connect and configure PC peripherals, troubleshoot software and hardware, provide on-site advice to users , server system software management, installing, configuring and updating system software of servers, server system and hardware troubleshooting, providing technical support to IP users of the university, configure access to the university IP from the user’s PC, performing work on accounting of computer equipment and software in the field, development of standard technical conditions for the purchase of computer hardware and software, inform university personal computers and IT users about existing and newly introduced IT and services at the university, planned and emergency work.

Information Security Department performs following tasks:

ensures information security in a higher education institution, timely notification of emerging threats to information security in a higher education institution, provides consulting services on information protection, ensures information security of information system resources and databases in a higher education institution, performing unauthorized or disruptive actions in the information space in the analysis and identification of law breakers analyzes the methods and tools used in the development, develops international cooperation in the field of information security in order to organize mutual practical work on the prevention of information security incidents in the national segment of the Internet network, develops annual and semi-annual work plans of the department, approves the work plans of the employees of the department he leads, every quarter the department holds its internal meeting and executive discipline warns the unsatisfactory employees.
