An applied scientific seminar was held at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University as part of the Continuous Professional Development Day.

At Jizzakh State Pedagogical University, effective and systematic events for professors and teachers are being continuously organized within the framework of the weekly “Continuous Professional Development Day,” held every Saturday. This initiative holds significant importance in enhancing the professional skills of educators, developing their scientific potential, and implementing modern educational approaches in practice. This process is notable for yielding positive results in the activities of the teaching staff.

Within the scope of such events, a scientific-practical seminar for professors and teachers was held at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University. The event was dedicated to enhancing the scientific and methodological potential of the teaching staff and discussing pressing issues related to modern educational trends, international assessment programs, and improving the quality of education.

The seminar was organized at the university’s Palace of Culture. Sardor Hamrobek o’g’li Polvonnazirov, Director of the International Research Center, delivered a lecture, providing detailed information on the role of international educational research and assessment systems in the development of education quality.

Within the scientific-practical seminar, discussions were held on Uzbekistan’s participation in international assessment programs such as PISA, PIRLS, TIMSS, and TALIS, factors affecting education quality, and issues of science, innovation, and pedagogical skills. Furthermore, plenary lectures and Q&A sessions were organized with the participation of leading scholars. Participants of the event particularly emphasized that such seminars held within the Continuous Professional Development Day framework serve as a crucial factor in broadening the scientific worldview of professors and teachers, strengthening their professional competencies, and improving the quality of education.
