The professors and teachers of the university went on a trip to Samarakand.

A trip to the city of Samarkand was organized by the university trade union committee on November 19, 2022 as November is annually designated as “Tourism Month for the Elderly” in accordance of the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan about “On additional measures to further improve the system of state support for the elderly”,
and to accomplish the tasks to be carried out within this month according to the letter No. 5/18-4/1-6691 of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 17, 2022, as well as to support the development of domestic tourism under the slogan “Travel around Uzbekistan” by the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan. Another goal of the trip was to acquaint professors and teachers and employees of our university with the great creative work done in the old city of Samarkand during international events.

During the trip, professors and teachers had the opportunity to know the shrine of Hazrat Daniyor, Shokhi Zinda complex, mausoleum of the First President I.Karimov, Registan complex, Gori Amir mausoleum, and the International Summit Center, tourism zone and other new facilities.
