A scientific and practical seminar entitled “Grant Winning Strategies” was organized for JSPU professors and teachers.

A practical seminar entitled “Grant Winning Strategies” was organized by Holly McFarlane, an assistant teacher of English at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University, and D. Bahriddinova, a senior teacher at the Department of English

The seminar was opened by G. Kadirov, vice-rector for scientific affairs. Then Holly McFarlane, Assistant English Language Teacher of the US Embassy on Fulbright Exchange, gave a presentation on “Useful Tips to Write Grant Proposals”.

The seminar continued with the presentation of D. Bahriddinova entitled “Stages of grant applications and their most important aspects”. Also, during the seminar, information was given about the types of grants within the ERASMUS project, and how to prepare for the ERASMUS Jean Monnet program for the announcement of applications in 2024.

All participating department members were asked to prepare to apply for Jean Monnet’s “Module” grant program step by step this academic year. During the seminar, professors and teachers were also given a practical training on how to search for grants that match their ideas within their field. The seminar was full of interesting questions and answers.
