I gave you my luminous footprints…
Jizzakh residents know Mehrniso Karimova, a member of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan, journalist, and writer. The honored teacher who served in the prosperity of the Jizzakh region is 75 years old. A few days ago, Mehrniso Karimova contacted us with a wonderful initiative..

“I heard that the Information Resource Center building at the university has been renovated,” says Mehriniso Karimova. “I want to donate the books that I have been collecting at home for several years to this library.” This initiative made us very happy. Our team and I visited the sister’s house. We had a conversation. Our heroine, who grew up in the beautiful village of “Kashkabulok” in Galla-Arol, enthusiastically told how her school years, her love for literature and books made her pick up a pen and write interesting stories.

At the end of our conversation, the sister said a blessing, saying, “I have given you my luminous footprints, and I want our youth to read them.”

We would like to express our gratitude to the writer and journalist, Honored Teacher Mehriniso Karimova, for her initiative to enrich the Information Resource Center of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University with new literature, further enhance the love of reading among students, and share knowledge.
