The regional qualifying round of the “Student Cybersports Games – Fergana 2025” has begun in Jizzakh.
The Jizzakh regional qualifying round of the “Student Cyber ​​Sports Games – Fergana 2025” republican competition has started at the “Cyber ​​Arena” complex in the city of Jizzakh.

The opening ceremony of the event was opened by Akmal Savurbayev, Deputy Governor of Jizzakh region. In his speech, he spoke about the attention paid to youth by the head of our state, the modern conditions and opportunities being created, and noted that it is our common duty to enhance the intellectual and spiritual potential of youth through such projects, to train specialists who meet the requirements of the time. It was also noted that within the framework of the “Dolzarb 90 kun” project, implemented at the initiative of our President, comprehensive measures are being taken to meaningfully organize the leisure time of young people and prevent various vices and violations.

“We consider increasing computer literacy among young people, developing and popularizing cybersports in line with the needs of the time, to be one of our priority tasks. The activity of young people participating in today’s competition indicates that their interest in cybersports is at the level of young people in developed countries,” says Akmal Savurbayev.

The competition is organized in 4 directions, all technical and organizational conditions have been created, and specialists have been involved. Teams from 5 higher educational institutions of the region are participating. Each team consists of 13 participants, who are competing in the specified directions.

Teams that achieve high results in the qualifying round will earn the right to participate in the republican stage of the “Student Cybersports Games – Fergana 2025”, which will be held in Fergana on June 23-25, 2025.
