A seminar and training session entitled “Identifying Predatory Journals” was conducted for doctoral students.

This event was conducted by the Head of the Department for Work with International Rankings and Indices, Ozodbek Ne’matovich Ne’matov.

The seminar-training was dedicated to the topic “Identifying Predatory Journals and Information About Their Types.” During the event, doctoral students were provided with comprehensive information about the main characteristics of predatory journals, their types, their negative impact on scientific activity, and methods for identifying such journals.

Furthermore, through practical examples, participants were equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills for taking precautions when working with international scientific publications and for selecting reliable journals.

The seminar-training served to encourage doctoral students to avoid making mistakes in their scientific activities and to increase their scientific literacy.
