As part of the official visit of the delegation led by Jizzakh State Pedagogical University Rector M. Yuldashev to the United States of America, an official meeting and negotiations were held with Dr. Alisa Leckie, President of GATESOL, at Georgia Southern University in Savannah, Georgia.

As an important outcome of the negotiations, a memorandum of mutual cooperation was signed between Jizzakh State Pedagogical University and GATESOL (Georgia Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages).

As part of the visit of the delegation led by the Rector of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University to the United States of America, an official meeting was held with the leadership of Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia, and representatives of the Global Engagement department.

During the meeting, views were exchanged on developing cooperation between the universities in the fields of education, scientific research, and innovations, participating in joint scientific projects and grant programs, and expanding international educational programs.
