A meeting was held at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University with students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport. The students’ achievements in sports, existing conditions, and priority tasks for the future were discussed.

The event was opened with an introductory speech by the university rector, Yuldashev Maqsudjan Abdullayevich, who spoke about the opportunities being created for our students to participate worthily in national and international competitions. In particular, it was emphasized that establishing a transparent system in sports, strictly ensuring the principles of honesty and justice, and widely promoting champions and prize-winners who have achieved high results over the past five years are important tasks. The Rector stated that he is always ready to listen to every student’s proposals and engage in open dialogue with them.

At the beginning of the meeting, a group of students who achieved high results in the months of January–February in the sports of kickboxing, sambo, wrestling, volleyball, basketball, and grappling were awarded.

Following this, the Dean of the Faculty, Furqat Ahmedov, made a presentation regarding the faculty’s sports infrastructure, material and technical base, international results, and future plans.

During the dialogue, students put forward proposals regarding attracting foreign coaches, organizing training sessions at a high level, opening new sports disciplines, and creating a favorable sports environment.

At the conclusion of the event, specific tasks were identified for further developing the sports sector, supporting student initiatives, and effectively utilizing available opportunities. The meeting concluded with artistic performances.
